Sean Savage and his wife Kristie came from Fort Myers, Florida with a dream to open a unique bakery and cafe in the finest European tradition, providing an exceptional dining experience with a reasonable cost. The result is The Crusty Croissant, Tulsa's newest original restaurant. Ask Sean Savage about the name, and he will be happy to tell you. "The perfect traditional croissant is crusty on the outside, and fluffy in the inside, that is exactly what we do with ours." Our name may seem odd, but the food is absolutely stunning.
Sean and Kristie opened in March of 2008 with incredible reviews, crowds and overwhelming acceptance by Brookside, a Tulsa community that demands only the very best of everything. With over twenty years as a restaurateur, Sean has created a French influenced menu with croissants, crepes, chicken, turkey, quiches and pork tenderloin all the way to the incredible pasta dishes with shrimp or spinach. Salads and fruit, coffees, teas and of course the pastry case filled with desserts.
There is patio dining, a popular favorite in Brookside, as well as private dining with reservations for 25 or less guests. Catering is available as well. Sean, Kristie, and their staff understand guest services, and will make every effort to see that you are comfortable, and of course, well fed. Guests are called by first name, as we strive to learn our guests likes and dislikes, and greet them whenever we can. A floor manager will come around to check on your meal, just to make certain your dining experience with us was enjoyable.
Our Pastry Chef is always creating, inventing and testing. You never know, it could be you that determines what our next dessert will be! You can often find Sean offering guests a chance to try something new to add to the menu. We have whole cakes, or by the slice, and plenty of cookies, tarts, scones and muffins to go around.
We are all proud of our restaurant, and we look forward to serving you. Please stop in and see what the buzz is all about!
